Use this task to initiate an outbound connection between this machine and your support structure, such as the IBM Remote Support Facility (RSF). You can specify how the local Hardware Management Console (HMC) connects to remote support from a local modem, an Internet Virtual Private Network (VPN), or a remote pass-through systems, and to test the availability of the connections.
Check Enable local system as a call-home server to allow the local HMC to connect to remote support for call-home requests.
